Radio-frequency heating of a medium sized tokamak at lower hybrid resonance
Description
A study of the transport properties of the LHR heated plasma is conducted in a medium sized tokamak. Duchs' code is used to calculate the relevant transport quantities with and without the lower hybrid resonant heating. Through the power deposition profiles with different RF frequencies the best frequency is arrived for the bulk heating of the tokamak. (L.C.)

Conduz-se um estudo das propriedades de transporte do plasma aquecido de ressonancia hibrida mais baixa num tokamak medio. Usa-se o codigo de Duchs para calcular as quantidades de transporte relevantes com e sem aquecimento ressonante hibrido mais baixo. Atraves dos perfis de deposicao de potencia com diferentes frequencias de RF chega-se a melhor frequencia para o aquecimento do corpo do tokamak. (L.C.)Additional details
