Calibration of the albedo neutron personnel dosimeter at the cyclotron of the Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear

Description
The general method of calibration of the albedo neutron personnel dosimeter at the neutron field of the cyclotron of the Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear are described. This method is based on the single sphere albedo developed by KfK, Germany. The calibration factors is related to the rate of the incident to albedo response of the dosimeter. Also, a calibration curve of the dosimeter relative to the '3/12' Bonner sphere readings ratio are shown. (author)

Descreve-se o metodo de calibracao do dosimetro pessoa de neutrons de albedo no campo de neutrons gerado pela operacao do ciclotron do Instituto de Engenharia Nuclear. Este metodo utiliza a tecnica da monoesfera de albedo desenvolvida no KFK, Alemanha. O fator de calibracao encontrada e dado em funcao da razao entre as respostas das componentes incidente e de albedo do dosimetro. Tambem e apresentada uma curva de calibracao do dosimetro em funcao da razao entre as leituras das esferas de 3' e 12' do espectrometro de Bonner. (autor)Files
