Measurements and analysis of parity nonconservation effects in integral γ spectra in 113Cd(n,γ)114Cd and 56Fe(n,γ)57Fe reactions

The parity-nonconservation effects, such as the correlation (σnpγ (where σn-neutron spin, pγ-direction of γ-quantum emission in the integral γ spectra from the reactions 113Cd(n,γ)114Cd and 56Fe(n,γ)57Fe are measured: correlation coefficient αn,γΣ=(4.04±0.83)x10-6 for 57Fe and αn,γΣ=(-1.64±0.36)x10-6 for 114Cd. The phenomenological values of the matrix elements of weak nucleon-nucleus interaction for the compound states of114Cd and 57Fe are extracted. The P-nonconservation effects for a few medium-weight and heavy nucleai are theoretically estimated
