Description
The temperature dependence of the electric quadrupole splitting measuring with 169Tm Moessbauer spectroscopy was satisfactorily fitted with the crystal field parameters as determined from neutron scattering and measurements of the magnetization, specific heat and thermal expansion. The spin relaxation time was found to follow an exponential temperature dependence around TN=6.3 K. (orig.)
