Variation of the isotopic composition of uranium in the atmosphere. Pt. 2
Description
Sharp increases in the 234U/238U and 235U/238U ratios were observed in several rain samples collected at Fayetteville (360 N, 940 W), Arkansas, during the period between August and November 1986. It appears as if this anomalous uranium has originated from the burn-up of the Soviet satellite Cosmos-1714, which fell over the Atlantic Ocean on 28 February 1986. (orig.)
