Physical evaluation of the switch-off pause 1978/79
Description
Automatic translation: On May 13, 1978 the power plant was shut down because of a leak in the steam generator switched off. Because of the lengthy drying of the primary system and extensive repair and revision work developed into the longest break in history to date the AVR. From a physical point of view, this occurred during the shutdown pause essentially 2 aspects: - Ensuring sufficient sub-criticality - Exploitation or creation of certain core states for the Determination of quantities of interest from a reactor physics point of view. Chap. 2 in which focus the course of the shutdown pause with the reactivity Influential events is shown.
Abstract (German)
Am 13.5.1978 wurde das Kraftwerk wegen eines Lecks im Dampferzeuger abgeschaltet. Wegen der langwierigen Trocknung des Primärsystems und umfangreicher Reparatur- und Revisionsarbeiten entwickelte sich die bislang längste Abschaltpause in der Geschichte der AVR. Aus physikalischer Sicht ergaben sich während der Abschaltpause im wesentlichen 2 Aspekte: - Sicherung einer ausreichenden Unterkritikalität - Ausnutzung bzw. Schaffung bestimmter Corezustände für die Ermittlung reaktorphysikalisch interessanter Größen. Mit dem ersten Aspekt beschäftigt sich Kap. 2 in dem schwerpunktartig der Verlauf der Äbschaltpause mit den auf die Reaktivität Einfluß nehmenden Ereignissen dargestellt ist.
