Early results in the study of myocardial perfusion with 99mTc-Cardiospect and comparison with TL-201
Description
A study of myocardial perfusion at rest and after injection of 99mTc-Cardiospect in 34 patients with ischemia is performed. The diagnosis is rejected in two patients. In 32 patients hyper fusion zones are registered, and they are assessed according to their size, weight and number. The comparison of the results with those received by using TL-201 showed that 99mTc-Cardiospect has certain advantage in the case when an assessment of the weight of hypoperfusion in different forms of ischemia is necessary. In patients with myocardial infarction the assessment of myocardium vitality is preferably made by TL-stress-redistribution-scintigraphy. 2 tabs., 6 refs. (orig.)
