Determination of resolution function for scintillator in (n, d) scattering experiment
Description
Associated particle time-of-flight system for the D(d, n)3He reaction has been developed for studying the scattering of neutrons of 2.45 and 3.27 MeV on deuterium. The distribution of neutrons elastically scattered by deuterium is obtained from the recoil deuteron spectrum. The authors present the method used to obtain differential cross-section from recoil energy spectrum. Preliminary results are given. (Auth.)
