Description
Ten institutions of nuclear industry, regulation and research from countries operating WWER reactors in the European Union established WWER PIE International Consortium to fund the radiochemical assays of WWER-440 fuel which should be performed in a hot cell laboratory in RIAR Dimitrovgrad, Russia. The measurements will be made on 12 samples cut out from 3 pins of VVER-440 fuel assembly with flat enrichment 4.4% 235U. The sample burnups lie in interval 30 - 60 MWd/kgU. The measured nuclides will be the 'burnup credit isotopes', actinides and fission products. (authors)
