Description
The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the Curie temperature of single-crystalline UCu2P2, UCuP2 and UCuAs2 compounds was measured up to 1.0 GPa by means of a.c. magnetic susceptibility. For the former compound TC increases linearly with pressure at the rate of (10 ± 1) K/GPa, whereas for the remaining two ternaries it is nearly unaffected by pressure. The obtained data are discussed in the frame of localized magnetism in these compounds. (author)
