Physicochemical investigation of melts and monocrystals of lithium tantalate
Description
Using the X-ray diffractometric, chemical and optical methods of analysis the degree and character of contamination of melts and monocrystals of lithium tantalate grown from molybdenum and iridium crucibles have been studied. It is established that the main part of molybdenum impurity is included into lithium tantalate melt in the form of mechanical inclusions and the rest part (< 0.1 mas.%) - into crystal lattice of lithium tantalate
