Various types of equilibrium of an oscillating steam bubble

Description

Analysis of oscillating steam bubble behaviour under a change of external parameters in the region of the main resonance is conducted. Effect of heat- and mass-exchange processes on the bubble walls on the change of equilibrium type character as compared to a gas bubble is noted. Change of equilibrium types for a steam bubble through the 'seat-node' bifurcation can be of a multiple character. The region of stable node existence can either be absent or two regions of stable nodes can be present
