Description
Specialized non-destructive under-water inspection equipment providing key information, at various irradiation stages, on the state and physical condition of irradiated LWR fuel rods, has been developed within the LWR fuel rod testing programmes at the HFR Petten and is extensively used. The eddy current and diameter scanning technique together with the data evaluation system is highlighted. 6 refs
