Description
Present article is devoted to evaluation of contribution of thermal radiation and convective exchange in the heat transfer coefficient of aluminium of various purity at natural air cooling. By the method of cooling the temperature dependence of aluminium of various purity in the temperature range from 300 to 873 K has been studied. It is revealed that the cooling process of the samples associated with thermal radiation and convective exchange. It is shown that with temperature increasing the proportion of thermal radiation in the cooling of metals increases. (author)
