Study of the increase of the cross section of the sub-Coulomb fusion by nucleon transfer
Description
For the present thesis the excitation functions of the sub-Coulomb fusion of the reactions 33S → 99,100,101,102,104Ru and 104,105,106Pd were measured. The aim of the present thesis was to look for indications that the cross sections of the sub-Coulomb fusion are increased by nucleon-transfer channels against the prediction from one-dimensional tunnel calculations. With a fit to measured excitation functions of the sub-Coulomb fusion the barrier distributions were determined which led to the increasement of the cross sections. Many of the found barrier distributions exhibit discrete structures which suggest a coupled-channel formalism for the description of the excitation functions. From the barrier distributions of the neighbouring systems of 33S → 91,92Zr by a simple constant-coupling model, which allows only the fit of one channel, the Q-values of this channel were determined. Fuer die vorliegende Arbeit wurden die Anregungsfunktionen der Sub-Coulombfusion der Reaktionen 33S → 99,100,101,102,104Ru und 104,105,106Pd gemessen. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war es, nach Indizien dafuer zu suchen, dass die Wirkungsquerschnitte der Sub-Coulombfusion durch Nukleonentransferkanaele gegenueber der Vorhersage aus eindimensionalen Tunnelrechnungen erhoeht werden. Mit einer Anpassung an gemessene Anregungsfunktionen der Sub-Coulombfusion wurden die Barrierenverteilungen bestimmt, die zur Erhoehung der Wirkungsquerschnitte fuehrten. Viele der gefundenen Barrierenverteilungen weisen diskrete Strukturen auf, die einen Coupled-Channel-Formalismus fuer die Beschreibung der Anregungsfunktionen nahelegen. Aus den Barrierenverteilungen der Nachbarsysteme 33S → 91,92Zr wurden mit einem einfachen Constant-Coupling-Modell, das nur die Ankopplung eines Kanals zulaesst, die Q-Werte dieses Kanals bestimmt.
