Highlights: • Quantitative CT texture analysis is useful for differentiating AML without visible fat from clear cell RCC. • All the four CT phases presented reliable diagnostic accuracy (79%–85%) for differentiating AML from RCC. • CT texture analysis shows good diagnostic performance for both unenhanced or enhanced phases. -- Abstract: To investigate the diagnostic performance and usefulness of texture analysis in differentiating angiomyolipoma (AML) without visible fat from clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) on four-phase contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT).
