Entropy production rate in tokamak plasmas with helical magnetic perturbations

  • 1. CEA, IRFM, F-13108 St. Paul-lez-Durance cedex (France)

Description

This paper presents a variational principle based on an extremum of entropy production rate allowing the calculation of the full neoclassical equilibrium (particles, heat and momentum) in tokamaks with an arbitrary helical perturbation.
