Visualization of boiling bubble by proton beam
- 1. Kyoto Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Engineering
Description
Experimental results are presented on visualization of boiling bubbles by proton radiography. 12 MeV proton generated from an accelerator is used. Boiling bubbles in a small vertical tube (1.88 and 1.38 mm I.D.) with ethylalcohol and boiling bubbles on a horizontal wire with magnetic fluid in a vertical magnetic gradient field are visualized.
