Process of preparing amorphous zirconium phosphate containing sorbents suitable for radioactive waste processing
Description
The invention is based on the observation that the amorphous zirconium phosphate in water adsorbs the products of nuclear fissions much better, than the natural components with low mass number. The selectivity of adsorption can be changed and increased by special treatments. Both the precipitation of the amorphous zirconium phosphate, and the further treatments are patented. (L.E.)
