Critical current of a magnetic-superconducting heterostructure: diode effect

Description
Critical current is calculated for a hybrid structure containing a thin ferromagnetic (FM) strip, placed above a superconducting (SC) film of finite width. Two different cases of the transport current direction (along and opposite to the superconducting strip axis) are analysed. It is shown that this system demonstrates a diode-like effect of the order of 50%
