Description
The radiation dose components absorbed by the staff during the production and diagnostic application of short-lived radiodiagnostic agents were recorded by LiF-dosimeters and a whole body counter designed for this interest. Special arrangements for radiation safety were suggested to reduce radiation exposure. The absolute value such as the temporal and spatial distribution of the radioacitivty of incorporated radionuclides were measured by the special detection geometry of the whole body counter. Computerized absorption dose calculations basing upon these data can be carried out. The radioactivities induced by fast neutron therapy were detected and their part of absorption dose determined. Die Strahlendosiskomponenten des Personals bei der Herstellung diagnostischen Anwendung von kurzlebigen Radiodiagnostika werden mit LiF-Dosimetern und einem hierfuer konzipierten Ganzkoerperzaehler erfasst. Zur Reduzierung der Strahlenbelastung werden spezielle Strahlenschutzeinrichtungen vorgeschlagen. Durch die besondere Anordnung des Ganzkoerperzaehlers koennen Absolutwert sowie die zeitliche und raeumliche Verteilung der Radioaktivitaet inkorporierter Radionuklide bestimmt und hierauf basierend, rechnergestuetzte Energiedosisberechnungen vorgenommen werden. Die bei der Therapie mit schnellen Neutronen induzierten Radioaktivitaeten werden gemessen und ihr Anteil an der Strahlendosis berechnet. (orig.)
