A thermal insulation system intended for a prestressed concrete vessel
Description
The description is given of a thermal insulation system withstanding the pressure of a vaporisable fluid for a prestressed concrete vessel, particularly the vessel of a boiling water nuclear reactor. The ring in the lower part of the vessel has, between the fluid inlet pipes and the bottom of the vessel, an annular opening of which the bottom edge is integral with an annular part rising inside the ring and parallel to it. This ring is hermetically connected to the bottom of the vessel and is coated with a metal lagging, at least facing the annular opening. This annular opening is made in the ring half-way up between the fluid inlet pipes and the bottom of the vessel. It is connected to the bottom of the vessel through the internal structure enveloping the reactor core

On decrit un dispositif d'isolation thermique d'un caisson en beton precontraint de resistance a la pression d'un fluide vaporisable, notamment du caisson d'un reacteur nucleaire a eau bouillante. La virole disposee dans la partie inferieure du caisson presente, entre les conduites d'admission du fluide et le fond du caisson, une ouverture annulaire dont le bord inferieur est solidaire d'une piece annulaire s'elevant a l'interieur de la virole parallelement a cette derniere. Ladite virole est reliee de facon etanche au fond du caisson et est revetue, au moins en vis-a-vis de l'ouverture annulaire, d'un calorifuge metallique. Ladite ouverture annulaire est menagee, dans la virole a mi-hauteur entre les conduites d'admission du fluide et le fond du caisson.
