Description
Thermal transformations of CsB9H14 as well as alkyl ammonium salts of B9H14- anion are studied mainly in the first region using the DTA methods in combination with gasovolumetry, IR spectroscopy and by chemicoanalytical techniques. It has been established that closo-B12H122- is one of the main decomposition products of cesium salt of B9H14- ion. Thermal stability increases from ternary to quaternary ammonium salts of B9H14-
