Forming of an overlap joint of different metals during electron beam welding

Description
Considered is the formation of an overlap joint of dissimilar metals during electron beam welding. On the basis of the experimental data given is a brief analysis of physical processes, responsible for complete penetration in the overlap joint. Manifestation of fission penetration effect during the welding of overlap joint of dissimilar metals depends on the material, welding regime and the type of electron-optical system
