MHD equations of anisotropic plasma equilibr;um in stellarators

Description
From vector equations describing in drift approximation anisotropic plasma, scalar two-dimensional equilibrium equations analogous to the Grad-Shafranov equation, for usual stellarator with a plane circular axis and for configuration with helical symmetry are obtained. It is shown that the anisotropy of a plasma can substantially affect the equilibrium only in stellarators with a sufficiently big magnetic ''hill''. The non linear equation for shifting magnetic surfaces in the stellarator with large aspect ratio is obtained
