Crystal structure of ErTi2Ga4 and isostructural intermetallic compounds

Description
Using X-ray methods of monocrystal and powder, crystal structure of the ErTi2Ga4 compound is determined. The structure belongs to tetragonal crystal system (the lattice periods are a=6.706(3), c=5.470(4)A), spatial group 14/mmm. The atoms occupy the following positions: 2Er, y 2(a) 000, 4Ti y 4(d) 01/21/4, 8Ga y 8(h) xxo (x=0.300(1)). 10 isostructural compound in the (Sc, Zr, Tb, Dy, Ho, Tm, Lu)-Ti-Ga and (Sc, Zr, Hf)-V-Ga systems are found
