Description
Report on a press conference of the German Fuel Reprocessing Association where German disposal projects were presented. Among the topics dealt with, there was the so-called integrated disposal project, the schedule of nuclear power plants untire the year 2000, and disposal treaties with foreign countries. Further issues were spent fuel reprocessing and ultimate storage of radioactive waste. (RW)

Bericht ueber eine Pressekonferenz der Deutschen Gesellschaft fuer Wiederaufarbeitung von Kernbrennstoffen, auf der die deutschen Entsorgungsprojekte vorgestellt wurden. Eingegangen wurde dabei u.a. auf das sog. integrierte Entsorgungsprojekt, auf das KKW-Programm bis zum Jahr 2000 sowie auf Entsorgungsvertraege mit dem Ausland. Weitere Punkte waren die Wiederaufarbeitung von abgebrannten Brennelementen sowie die Endlagerung radioaktiver Abfaelle. (RW)Additional details
