Description

By means of the emission Moessbauer spectroscopy using 67Cu(67Zn) and 67Ga(67Zn) isotopes the holes resulting from Sr2+ substitution for La3+ within La2-xSrxCuO4 lattice are shown to be localized for the most part in the oxygen atoms finding themselves in the same plane with the copper atoms, while the electrons occurring within Nd2-xCexCuO4 lattice due to the substitution of Ce4+ ions for Nd3+ ones are shown to be localized within the copper sublattice. The mentioned results are in line with the model assuming that the electron interaction with the negative correlation energy diatomic two-electron centres is the mechanism responsible for the high-temperature superconductivity within La2-xSrxCuO4 and Nd2-xCeCuO4) lattices
