Description
Pion interaction with nuclei is described by the field theory. The main approximation, used in the paper, is disregard of nuclear recoil energy. Obtained are general expressions for the amplitudes of elastic scattering, inelastic scattering and absorption. The structure of pion-nuclear amplitudes is obtained from the equations of field theory and from the general scattering theory. Inelastic pion scattering in the range of A33-resonance is considered as an example
