Radiation protection in the cement industry
Description
Summary: X-ray radiation is used in the cement industry to ensure a high product quality in laboratories that are often already automated - a safe and efficient physical method provided the basic principles of radiation protection are observed. Non-observance of the legal regulations can lead to severe fines. This article provides an overview of the main provisions for the use of X-ray radiation and gamma radiation in German cement works.
