Description
In order to evaluate safety margins in LMFBR (Liquide Metal Fast Breeder Reactors) structures, it appears necessary to study crack propagation in components subjected to high temperature at which material creeping must be taken into account. The aim of this paper is to present 2-D finite element calculations of creep crack growth parameters, comparisons with experimental data obtained by tests on CT-20 specimens and an example of application to an industrial case.
