Covering treated fields with waterproof transparent foil

Description

Washing of the treated field is possible in megavolt-radiotheraphy, if it is covered by a waterproof transparent foil. The foil is ideally suited for immediate postoperative therapy of keloids. (orig./MG)

Abstract (German)

Durch die Anwendung einer besonderen Folie als Folienabdeckung kann bei mehreren Bestrahlungsfeldern im Rahmen der Megavoltbestrahlung das Waschen ermoeglicht werden. Bei postoperativen Bestrahlungen zur Keloidvorbeugung ist eine sofortige Bestrahlung ohne Verbandwechsel und Infektionsgefahr moeglich. (orig.)
