Description
The influence of analytical X-ray selective excitation in photon activation analysis has been investigated. X-rays from the sample are measured by means of a Si(Li)-detector. Betatron with 23 MeV-bremsstrahlung is used to activate the samples. The formula is proposed to estimate the contribution of selective excitation into the analytical peak and the experimental check-up of its usage is made. (author)
