Description

For the first time in our knowledge we have observed and studied self-pulsing in an all-fiber laser based on heavily Ho-doped fiber. The laser operated in stable pulse regime with a repetition rate up to 600 kHz. Minimum pulse duration was of 200 ns; peak power achieved 25 W
