Research of electric field pulse of Shenguang III prototype laser facility target chamber

Description
Intense electromagnetism interference generated by interaction of high power laser and target in the laser interior confinement fusion experiments, and it will seriously involve the data acquisition of electric diagnostics. Method of high electric field measuring by antenna is presented, and antenna measurement system for Shenguang Ⅲ prototype laser facility target chamber, and antenna measurement system have been development, with a spectrum range from 100 MHz to 1.25 GHz. Measurements of electric field at time of laser shooting target have completed. Results of experiment indicate that EMP with peak magnitudes up to 26019 V/m in the inner chamber, located about 550 mm from target chamber center. And EMP with peak magnitudes up to 978 V/m in the exterior chamber, located about 2200 mm from target chamber center. Shielding performances of electric diagnostics for physical experiment design have been presented. (authors)
