Description
Development of a method for determination of urea, required for the analysis of feed and effluent solution of internal gelation method of sol-gel process by potentiometric acid-base titration in non-aqueous medium has been attempted. Urea could be determined in glacial acetic acid-acetic anhydride medium when present alone with an inaccuracy below 1% at 30 to 60 mg level compared to the inaccuracy of 16% in the presence of hexamethylene tetramine.
