Carrent efficiency in copper and cadmium elecrodeposition with periodic currents
- 1. AN SSSR, Moscow (USSR). Inst. Fizicheskoj Khimii
Description
Effect of different factors on metal current efficiency (CE) during copper and cadmium electrodeposition under variable saturation is investigated. It is shown that CE is reduced with the growth of anode current component and electrolyte stirring intensity. Investigation into near the electrode concentration of intermediate valence ion allows one to assume that CE reduction is conditioned by partial Cu+ and Cd22+ removal by solution flow
