Body surface exposures of patients and their distribution in gastrointestinal tract X-ray examination in Beijing

Description
In order to investigate body surface exposures of patients and their distribution in G. I. T. X-ray examinations, 32-106 thermoluminescent dosimetry elements LiF (Mg, Cu, P) powder were put in the special measureing clothes which patients weared during the examinations. 370 patients were surveyed with three types of x-ray equipment and four kinds of examination. The mean value of the product of the exposure and area, mean area of exposure field, mean body surface exposure, the ratio of the exposures due to from different incident directions, etc. were measured and calculated
