Description
The distribution of transverse and longitudinal optical fields in tightly focused higher-order laser beams is investigated. Polarization-dependent fingerprints of transverse and longitudinal optical fields are experimentally captured by means of photoinduced surface deformations in azobenzene polymer thin films. (paper)
