Strong focusing higher-order laser modes: transverse and longitudinal optical fields

  • 1. Department of Optics and Nanophotonics, Institute of Physics, Kazan Federal University, Kremlevskaya, 16, Kazan, 420008 (Russian Federation)

Description

The distribution of transverse and longitudinal optical fields in tightly focused higher-order laser beams is investigated. Polarization-dependent fingerprints of transverse and longitudinal optical fields are experimentally captured by means of photoinduced surface deformations in azobenzene polymer thin films. (paper)
