Lateral distributions of X-ray intensity and ablation pressure on pellet shells irradiated by external X-ray sources
Description
The lateral distributions of the X-ray intensity and the ablation pressure on a pellet surface were calculated for the pellet implosion driven by soft X-rays emitted from external X-ray sources. The lateral ablation pressure distribution calculated by ray-tracing with the ablation pressure scaling is in good agreement with that obtained experimentally. (author)
