Nuclear fuel element

Description

Purpose: To achieve extraction of fission product gas from nuclear fuel element at each occasion when extraction of fission product gas is needed, using plug having elongated horn shaped portion in which axial hole is bored. Constitution: In a Nuclear fuel element comprising fuel material which is filled in sheath, plug is adapted at an end of said sheath, said plug provides elongated horn shaped portion in which axial hole is bored, so as to give passage from inside of fuel element but not to penetrate to outside of fuel element.
