Development of radiating effect test system based on the transistor measurement

  • 1. Institute of Nuclear Physics and Chemistry, China Academy of Engineering Physics, Mianyang (China)

Description

An radiating effect test system was established which based on the linear relationship between the reciprocal of current gain and the neutron flux, and the transistors with good similar parameters have been employed as radiating effect monitors. The hardware of this system consisted of computer, matrix switch, multicenter synchronous collector, function waveform generator and test board; while the software was built up by Labview program. The validity tests were performed at CFBR-Ⅱ reactor and cobalt radiant point. The test of radiating effect parameters was actualized by this system, and the changes of radiating effect parameters in the transient and steady radiating field with neutron fluence were obtained.
