Description
The paper presents reasons in favour of electromagnetic origin of muon groups observed at small distances from an EAS axis. The number of such muons with energy Esub(uthr) is examined. The possibility to yield the information on cosmic radiation primary spectrum in the energy range E0 1015-1017 eV is also considered using experimenal data on frequency of muon groups in EAS
