Description
The evolution of vertical tilt and corrugation-wave modes in axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric galactic potentials is investigated numerically using the three-dimensional quasi-particle code described in a previous paper by the present authors. The model potential used in the simulations is similar to that adopted previously in the theoretical study of linear corrugation waves, but a thicker disc is used in the present work for numerical reasons. A variety of initial configuration and velocity conditions is investigated, with the aim of reproducing the predicted theoretical fast and slow waves. (author)
