Statistical characteristics of spatial distribution of radioactive contamination caused by Chernobyl accident
Description
Role of statistical processes in formation of spatial distribution of radioactive contamination caused by the Chernobyl accident is studied. More accurate determination of the effects of local (tens of meters) and intermediate (hundreds of meters) heterogeneities of radioactive contamination distribution is achieved by selection and subsequent spectrometric analysis of samples from polygons located in the Gomel and Bryansk regions. Method of statistical analysis of the available data is developed
