New physics in Bs decays to the vector mesons J/ψ and ψ

Description
This paper is concerned with the physics of Bs and Bs-bar meson decays to J/ψ and ψ. These decays have been observed at the Tevatron (CDF Collaboration 1995 Phys. Rev. Lett. 75 17) and, in particular, should be copiously observed at the LHCb detector. This paper gives a concise presentation of the basic physics analysis and a general formalism for analysing the signals of CP violation. (letter to the editor)
