Two kinds of et- in aqueous solutions of CaCl2, MgCl2 and LiCl as studied by the low temperature pulse radiolysis
Description
The optical absorption spectra observed by the pulse radiolysis of glassy aqueous solutions of CaCl2, MgCl2 and LiCl in D2O at temperature of 6-110 K are reported. In addition to the well established band in the visible region due to evis-, a second band is observed in the hear - infrared not only in MgCl2 and LiCl but also in CaCl2. The effect of temperature on evis- and eir- yields is estimated for above glasses. (author). 14 refs, 3 figs, 1 tab
