On the Vlasov-Poisson limit of the Vlasov-Maxwell equation

Description

The Vlasov-Maxwell equation is shown to converge to the Vlasov-Poisson equation at the limit of the infinite light velocity. The initial layer and the asymptotic expansion of solutions as the light velocity tends to infinity are discussed in detail. (Auth.)
