Measurements of g-factors for the case of inseparable energies of γ-γ-cascade
Description
Investigations of differential g-factor determination for separable and inseparable γ-energies were conducted. It resulted that a measurement at inseparable γ-energies determines the sign of the g-factor up to a nuclear level width of 0.1 ns. The combination of integral and differential measurement leads to the determination of g-factors of not yet measured nuclear levels by disturbed γ-γ-angular correlations. (WL)
Abstract (German)
Es wurden Untersuchungen der differentiellen g-Faktorbestimmung fuer trennbare und untrennbare γ-Energien durchgefuehrt. Es ergab sich, dass eine differentielle Messung bei untrennbaren γ-Energien bis zu einer Kernniveauhalbwertsbreite von 0,1 ns das Vorzeichen des g-Faktors eindeutig bestimmen laesst. Die Kombination einer integralen und einer differentiellen Messung erschliesst damit eine ganze Reihe noch nicht gemessener Kernniveaus der Messung von g-Faktoren durch gestoerte γ-γ-Winkelkorrelationen.
