Zirconium dioxide base concrete masses bound by alumo zirconate barium cement
Creators
Description
Concrete zirconium mass with the maximum grain size of 5 mm on the basis of electromolten zirconium dioxide, stabilized by calcium oxide and alumo zirconate barium cement was developed. Binder on the basis of barium monoaluminate is of greatest interest. Barium zirconate addition to barium aluminate activizers the process of cement hydration. It is shown that for highly refractory zirconium masses with service temperature of 2200-2400 deg C cements with the content of 20-30 % of barium aluminate and 70-80 % of barium zirconate can be used
